Cure the Blue Initiative

"Cure the Blue" is an initiative by the Buffalo Bills Alumni Foundation aimed at raising awareness about prostate cancer. The program focuses on education and early detection, with particular emphasis on African American men who are at higher risk. Funds support research, awareness events such as 5K runs, and partnerships with medical institutions like Roswell Park. The initiative is led by Booker Edgerson, a cancer survivor. While there is currently no cure for prostate cancer, early screening for men aged 40-45 (or 50) can help catch the disease early, improving outcomes through treatments like radiation and hormone therapy.

National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund

Founded in 1984, the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund is devoted to honoring fallen officers, preserving the history of American law enforcement, and enhancing the safety of those who serve. Funds raised help support these important goals and initiatives.
